Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the only woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit participant and media star - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She has gained fame for being the sole woman to ever win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Winner in both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017Annie has gained a lot of attention. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. In her early years, she was always a lover of exercise and sports. She was a participant in numerous school events and earned several medals. The first time she participated was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California in which she performed extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir as of 2021, is aged 31. She stands at 5'7" tall and weighs about 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California in 2009. She performed well in initial competitions and was in the top 10 out of 70. She did not take home a title and finished the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. In the following year she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her outstanding performance she was able to win the competition and became the first female to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she took home a gold. In 2021, she took home with a bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has appeared as the spokesperson for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube page boasts over 1,000 users, posting videos of her family, travel and other topics along with training and diet plans.
